"Communication"
Communication now compared to ow it was twenty years ago has changed dramatically. Back then there wasn't facebook,aim,cell phones weren't as advanced as there are today. We didn't have certain things like oovo and slype to communicate through a computer while looking at each other.
I feel that communication twenty years ago was no where near as advanced as how it isnow. Getting into contact with someone wasn't as easy like how it is now. For example who want to get into contact with someone can get right on the internet such as facebook and things like that,oove,slype or aim and they can get into contact with the person. Back in the day twenty years ago if a person didn't have a persons number,there wasn't many other ways that they could get into contact with that person.
Communication has truly advanced from twenty years ago. I feel that it is a lot easier to talk to a person compared to talking to a person twenty years ago. Hopefully as the years continue on,communication will continue to get better so that everyone will stay in contact.

"Conviences"

"Conviences"
People go through many things during the years of their lives on this earth. These things may be happy experiences or hardships that they must have overcame during their lives. Others experices things that make their lives convenient. People in this world who come across convenient situations in their lives change their lives dramatically because they don't have to work for it. For example, my brother didn't have to work for his first car sompared to a lot of teenagers that do. One day his car stopped working and he got to use my mothers car. This situation in my opinion was convenient for him because other teenagers would of had to walk to try to find another ride to their destination. It was convenient that my mother wasn't working the exact same time that he needed the car. I feel that this situation changed his life because for a while he didn't understand that everything isn't always going to be there for him when he needs it. He had to realize that sometimes things aren't going to be in his favor, and he would have to go through things that he dint think was going to happe. Convieniences change the way that people think because when people work for certain things instead if it being convenient for them then they have a total different outlook on life.

“Impulsive Buying"

Shopping! A lot of people around the world love to do it, I happen to be one of those people who absolutely loves to shop, but if a person shops too much it can lead to a life changing experience. When a person shops, it is caused by their emotions toward that particular item that he or she wants. If he or she wants it and is financially able to purchase it then he or she will buy it. To me shopping is something that is very fun and is very enjoyable thing to do in my free time but I also know when I must stop. Sometimes people begin to shop and it basically becomes an addiction that they can't control because there is always something that they want. With shopping addiction can bring major consequences? For example if a person has a lot of bills such as a car note, mortgage, utilities, and a family to support and they are spending all of their money of material things or whatever the case may be, their life can dramatically change in a matter of minutes. Money that should be spent on bills or to feed a person’s family would be spending on other things, which can affect the family terribly. Too much spending can leave a person broke, unable to feed their families, pay the mortgage, which will leave them homeless if they don't come up with the money. I personally have seen this happen to a person I know. People have to understand that they need to have priorities and they should know what more important. Even though shopping is fabulous and fun to do, paying bills and taking care of business comes first

"Pollution"

What is pollution you ask? Pollution is when parts of the world become dirty because of the things that some humans do. Examples of pollution would be the water and our environment in general. Lots of beaches are a certain part of the world that becomes polluted a lot of the times. The beach water at the beach often times becomes polluted and has a lot of germs because some people throw trash in the water, use the restroom in the water, spit in the water and unsanitary things like that. Pollution is serious because it affects everyone involved. When the beach water is full of germs the sea life with all of the animals living in the water becomes endangered. The water is home for the animals that live in the sea and if it is polluted with trash which creates these germs then it can really endanger their lives. Not only does pollution endanger the sea life but it also endangers the people who go swimming in the sea water as well. While swimming in the water the humans are near the germs which can endanger their health.

Pollution doesn't only occur at the beach, it can occur anywhere in the world where people throw trash and not clean up after themselves. Another example of pollution can be at a park. If people don't clean up their trash at the park, the environment of the park can become really dirty and endanger the lives of everyone who is around. I feel we all should do our part in keeping this world we live in a clean and healthy place, it only makes life much better to live in a clean world.

"Modern Life without Computers"

Can you imagine life without computers? Life would be so much different in my opinion. Each and every student at least in high school would experience a completely different lifestyle involving their school work. There would be no power points, typed essays, group projects that involve doing videos or nothing of that nature.

Computers play a major part in students learning. For example, without computers my creative writing class would not be able to be taught the way that it is being taught. My fellow classmates and I wouldn't be able to blog our own writings, and comment on the work that our fellow classmates are doing. Have the privilege to have computers is helping my fellow classmates and I expand our writing skills to its most powerful potential, and without it we would have to learn some other way, which in my opinion wouldn't be as fun as it is now.

Another way that people around the world would experience life in a different way is a lot of times people have a lot of different questions about certain things that's going on in the world and the past events that have happened in the world. Without computers people would have to go find certain books that pertains to the question that they want to be answered, which is more difficult than looking it up on the internet in my opinion. Writing is also something that would be completely different without computers. Most of the time college professors and high school teachers want the work of their students want typed. Without computers each and every student would have to hand write their work, that's not a bad thing but some students hand writing isn't as legible as others which create it harder for the teachers read which makes it harder for them to grade. In my opinion this is harder for the teacher versus a teacher reading a legible typed paper.

"Techniques that Make a Person a good Driver"

 There are many techniques and behaviors that can make people wonderful drivers. Being behind the wheel of a car requires a lot of specific details that a person must do in order to be a good driver. A person must focus on his or her surroundings and pay attention to everything that is going on around him or her. I say this because when driving there are a lot of lives that can be easily taken from one simple mistake. Certain things like listening to your surroundings can play a major role in life or death. For example the ambulance, drivers need to listen if they hear ambulance sirens because the ambulance has somewhere important to be. Other things that can make people good drivers are responsibility, and being cautious. Responsibility can deal with no drinking and driving. I feel this is another reason that can make a person a good driver because they are showing good responsibility skills and not endangering the lives of other drivers and pedestrians that are around. Another good technique is for someone to know each and every single one of the driving rules because if they don't then that can put not only themselves but the lives of others in danger. I feel that they should not only know the rules, but I feel they should follow these rules because it makes life a lot easier for the drivers around them when they follow the rules.

"Events in the Life of my Favorite Performer"

My favorite performer is Mr. Trey Songz. Before he became Trey Songz he was Tremaine Neverson from Petersburg Virginia. Growing up Tremaine lived with his mother and his brother.  Many people see him as this big icon now who filthy rich with everything he ever wants, but before all of the fame and fortune that Trey Songz is getting now his life wasn't as easy as we all think it was. Trey Songz was a poor boy from Virginia. His mother was a single mother who worked more than one job just to support Tremaine and his brother. Life for Tremaine wasn't as easy as it appears to be now,back then he couldn't just buy anything he wanted, or get anything he wanted from anyone. He knew that he like to sing at a young age. Growing up he would perform in talent shows and sing to groups of people. Many years of his life he did that until he got to his last year of high school. Once he finished his last year of high school he realized that he dint want to go to college because singing was his passion. Tremaine had one year to get a record deal or his mother was going to send him to college. He got his record deal within that year and he wrote his first single gotta make it. From doing that single his first check was worth 50,000. With this 50,000 he bought his mother a house.

All of these hardships that happened in Trey Songz live, from growing up not having many things relates to his achievements now because it shows that he made and because a very successful young man. This shows that working hard can get people far in this life even when their childhood situations aren't as easy.

"How I`m unique and special"

What makes me special you ask? There are many things about me that make me consider myself a unique and special person. Many people have been through many hardships in their lives and have let these hardships keep them down but the things I have been through in my life have changed my way of thinking. The things I have been through has made meant to change the lives of others and give them hope for a better tomorrow. One of the hardships I have been through in my life is dealing with the death of my father. Even though I am dealing with this pain to this day this is one of the many reasons why I want to be a psychologist. I want to talk to others about their problems and let them know that everything is going to be fine even when you are going through terrible things in life. I feel this makes me special because I’m taking a terrible experience that I am going through and making it into something positive that may possible change the lives of others. I’m not saying this will make all the things that they are going through go away, but I feel if I can say a few kind words to help them get through their hard times then I will gladly do that to make someone’s live a little better. I feel this also makes me unique because I never really come across people that take negative situations and try to make them into something postive.

"Importance of Pride in Ones Work"

Pride in anything a person does should be something that everyone has. It could be homework, class work, a drawing ,a written poem, a collage, anything a person does on his or her own should be valued by them and they should have a lot of pride in because just for the simple fact that it was done by them. I feel that if a person has pride in anything they do then whatever they are creating will turn out wonderful no matter if they are creating something they really don't want to create. Projects are a great example. Often times teachers like to give project that have to deal with some type of artwork or creation involved. Then there are some students who say they aren't good at creating certain things. I was one of those students when I was younger. A project that was assigned to me was making a collage. In my mind I was thinking "I can't do this, I’m not good at this kind of stuff. Once I got started on this project I began to have fun. I really started to enjoy in and I thought my collage was beautiful once I was finished. I realized that once you believe in yourself and realize the amazing things you are capable of then there isn't anyone in the world who can do something amazing if they put their mind to it. Pride is an amazing thing to have and anyone and everyone in this world can have it, one we all have pride in our work that we do in this life everything we do seems to get better and better.

"Diversity"

The meaning of diversity is the different aspects of life that us as humans have. These differences are race, culture, religion, political views and the list goes on.

Nothing in this world is the same, there is always different ways and forms that things come in. Race for example; every single person in this earth is not the same race. Different races include African American, Hispanic, Mexican, Chinese and the list goes on. Religion is another example of diversity. People from all around the world have different religions. There are many different religions that people choose to believe in and live by. Culture is another form of diversity. In certain cultures children aren't allowed to have a significant other until a certain age because of his or her culture. Other cultures don't require people from that culture to that because it’s what this culture believes in. All of these examples come back to the meaning of diversity. Diversity is something that will be one answer to things in life because the beauty of diversity is the fact that it comes in many different shapes, forms, and fashions.

"What Coorperation Means To Me"

Cooperation to me means someone who is willing to work with others to get something done. It may not be what the person wants to do at that time but they will be willing to do the job to help others. I feel that each and every single person on this earth should have cooperation.

Having cooperation is extremely important in life because we all are going to come into contact with others, and we all going to have to work with others at some point in our lives. It may be at school, work, etc, and if a person doesn't have cooperation skills then others aren't going to want to be around that person. For example school, sometimes teachers want to put a group of students to work in a group together on a group project. Each person is going to have a specific job to get done while doing this project, but if a person doesn't want to cooperate and not do their assigned job then the group is going to get mad. Well I know I would get mad if my grade is depending on the work of someone else in my group.

Cooperation means a lot to me because it makes life a lot easier when everyone works together to get something done, and if we all have that then everything will turn our fine.

"Techniques and Methods Teachers Can Do"

Many teachers all across the world do their jobs very differently. Depending on the subject that they teach, some like to give long lectures, short lectures, and other teachers want their students to have fun, so they give them fun projects to do.

Students learn in very different ways, me personally I am a visual learner meaning I learn by seeing something being done. Often times when a subject is being taught from lecturing for a long time most students tend not to pay attention because it’s so boring. I feel that teacher’s should teach the way that their student learns. Creating fun group projects is a perfect example that will keep students interested in the subject being taught. This helps the teacher get his or her job done and the students will have fun while learning the subject.

Another method a teacher can do to do his or her job more effectively in my opinion if form study groups for the students who aren't understand the material being taught. A study group in my opinion is very good for students to understand the material. Study groups have helped me when I was having trouble in math. I didn’t understand any of the material until I got together with a group of students who were also having trouble. Once we formed it, we began to go to tutoring, and studied together which made a huge difference in my grades

"Fame and Fortune"

A person can achieve fame and fortune from numerous things. There's acting, dancing, singing, sports and the list goes on. All of these different roles that a person can do come with hard work. Someone who is lazy will not succeed in any of these roles.

For example, the show American Idol opens the door for a lot of aspiring singers and dancers. Some people might say "Anyone can go on this show if they have talent and they can advance on this show very easily". Even the ones who have talent have to work extremely hard. Think about it, there are millions of other people who are competing for the same exact spot, so there has to be lots of hard work and time put in, in order to become a celebrity.

I notice that when a lot of celebrities have interviews they talk about how the fortune that had come with the fame has dramatically changed their lives. Financially is one of the major reasons how their lives are changed. Celebrities talk about how they didn't have certain things while they were growing up, or how their family never had all the nice things, and now being rich has made their lives easier. Fame and fortune is not handed to anyone without any type of work put in, hard work is the key to achieving anything you want in this life, and anyone and everyone can achieve it.

"Enviromental Problem"

A major environmental problem that has taken the lives of many people is the flood that occurs across the world. According to S.M Enzler floods have different possible causes such as heavy rainfall, hurricanes and cyclones. Many countries have taken precautions before flooding events to prevent more from happening in the future.

Flooding over the years has taken lots of people’s lives and has changed others lives in many ways. In November of 2006 a flood hit a place called Somalia, which killed 52 people and 50,000 went missing. In the same month heavy rain caused Afghanistan to flood. The death toll reached 80, and took more than two days to reach some of the most flooded villages.

The summer of 1998, China was flooded which took the lives of more than 3000 people, and left 14 million people homeless. In 1993 the Great Flood hit the American Midwest, the death toll was 28, ten thousand homes were destroyed, and 15 thousand acres of farmland was destroyed as well. Flooding go back even to 1927,and maybe even further. In 1927 the United States experienced the Great Mississippi flood because of heavy rainfall. This flood affected 7 different states, which killed 246 people and left 700,000 missing.

As you can see these floods is a major problem that changes people’s lives in many ways. Floods are something that we as humans can't prevent but I feel there should be some type of building that should be built that is protected from water coming in and flooding. I feel these should be built in all areas of the world so when the flood comes everyone will be safe.

"Reality Shows"

            Do you remember what television was like where there were more sitcoms coming on television than reality shows today? In my opinion television had a lot more meaning that what it has now. Don’t get me wrong, reality shows are entertaining to watch, and I am a big fan of them, but I with television had just as many sitcoms as it does reality shows.

            Even though I wish more sitcoms came on today, I feel that reality shows make good television. With reality shows, there is never a dull moment. There is always some type of action going on no matter what the reality show is. Even though some people say” Oh reality shows are dumb, and they are scripted”, it is still very entertaining to watch no matter what show it is. Reality shows that I hear about a lot are “I Love Money, The bad girls Club, and The Jersey Shore”. I happen to watch all three of these shows and each and every single episode is entertaining to me. A lot of people that I have come into contact with tend not to pay attention to certain things when they are boring. For example, school, if there is a performance going on and there is not action occurring, the audience begins to lose their focus until some type of action begins to take place. This action could be a yell, a scream, or even if a person begins to raise his or her voice, these things makes the audience regain their focus. This is the reason why I feel that reality shows make good television because even if a person had b\never seen or heard of the show, depending on the action of that reality show they may begin to watch that show. Bag Girls Club, I never watched the first season. One day I was trying to find something to watch on television when I turned to “The Bad Girls Club”. Two of the girls were arguing about something, but the argument got my attention because there was action going on, so after that I loved the show ever since.

             I feel that reality shows make good television depending on the show. Some of these reality shows I have seen on television don’t make good television at all because some of them seem so pointless. Others make good television; they are funny and very entertaining to watch for the viewers. At the end of the day if the viewers are entertained by the show, then that’s all that matters in my opinion.

"A Health Concern"

Have you ever lost a loved one due to a terrible health issue?

With all of these terrible heath issues occurring I feel that each and every single one of them deserves immediate attention. When there are millions of people losing their lives every day I feel there should be things done to help our loved ones live long and healthy lives.

Breast cancer is one of the many health issues that I think should have immediate attention. The National Breast Cancer Awareness association stated "By the end of the year over 40,000 women will die from breast cancer in the United States alone". Now I don't know if that sounds like a lot to other people, but to me that's a very large number and something should be done about it. I feel that women should be able to live long healthy lives not worrying about the breast cancer issue. As terrible as this cancer is there are many things that can be done to decrease of breast cancer. The national Breast Cancer Association said women can maintain a healthy weight, work out with others, keep you active and decrease fat intake. If women do these things to decrease their chances of having breast cancer then I’m positive they will prevent themselves from having this terrible health issue. They will live long and healthier lives and I’m sure each and every single woman in the world wants that for not only herself but her loved ones as well.

Teenage smoking, is it something that will change a teens life for the better? No. Is it something that will benefit teens today? No. So why do some teens do it? The American Lung Association states a reason a teen may smoke is because "they feel older and wiser when they smoke". They also estimated that every minute four thousand and eight hundred teens will try a cigarette. This association found that about 80% of adult smokers started smoking as teens.

According to the American Lung Association there are many things that may cause a teen to smoke. It was stated that some teens like to act like someone special or dangerous and by smoking it makes these feelings that they have to come out. Some teens crave attention and by smoking they feel that they will get all the attention they need. This association also stated another cause of teen smoking may be because the teen may be experiencing pressure from home or school and the use of tobacco is a form or relief for them.

Teens who smoke may not experience the negative results from it right away but they need to understand that smoking can cause many health problems such as high blood pressure and many forms of cancer. Smoking should be put to an end and especially teens should realize that they can live healthier lives without smoking.

"Change Of Plans"

The most talked about party of the year is finally here. Your friend has been planning the ultimate New Year’s party and of course you’re invited and basically everyone you know is invited to this party. The only thing you can think about is what you’re going to wear that night and all the fun you and your friends are going to have. With all the excitement about this New Year’s party going on, you forgot that your family is having a party for your great grandmother who you haven't seen in years on the same night. Oh no, what are you going to do?

Okay let’s think about this for a second. This is going to be the most talked about party of the year, everyone who is anybody is going to be there. There's no way that you would ever want to miss this party. But then you think about your great grandmother who you haven't seen in years. This would be something very special to her to see you at her party. Now you’re thinking "what do I do"? Do I go to this New Year’s party, or do I go to my great grandmother’s party"? Well a change of plans would be the better idea. Your friend's party would be fun, but your great grandmother is way more important to you than a new year's party. A change of plans in this situation would be necessary in my opinion because family should come before anything and everything

" Foods That People Eat"

                                          

There are many different reasons why people choose the certain foods that they eat. These reasons may be because of their heath and how they want to live, a particular taste they want to have, or others just don't care and eat anything they want without thinking about their health. All of these cases are different because everyone eats the foods they want in the certain way that they want.

People who want to eat healthy for example compared to people who don't choose their food in very different ways. My grandmother for example, sometimes she wants to eat healthy for a while so she becomes particular about the things that she eats. Well since she is being healthy she looks at a lot of different things. She looks at how much sugar the food has, salt, calcium, protein ect. When a person is being healthy they only want to eat a certain amount of calories and have a certain amount of protein, calcium, salt, and sugar. Others who aren't being as healthy wouldn’t care how much sugar, salt and things like that in their food because they aren't counting the calories. I for example if I’m not trying to eat something healthy I will choose my food based on how it tastes. Like a lot of people in the world, if the food is nasty then a person most likely will not eat the meal

"The Importance of Math"

                                       

Every single subject in that people in the world learn in school is very important. English, History, Science P.E Math and the list goes on are all extremely important and change people’s lives as they learn in these subjects. Some people say "Why do we have to take math?, I'm not going to use it in the career that I’m going to do". Math is something that we all need even if we don't need them in the careers that we are going to do.

We all may not notice, but almost every day a lot of people use math. Shopping for example, what do people need in order to shop? Money, right? I don't know about other people but when I shop and get my change back I always count my money. Me personally, I don't like for anyone to try to beat me out of any of my money, so I always count mine. For those who do count their money, did you think of what got you to that point of you learning how to count your money? Math, I mean think about it, if we didn’t have math as a subject in school we wouldn't know how much to give the cashier when we are shopping and we wouldn’t know how much we should be getting back. That is just one of the many examples that shows how math has dramatically saved is all from getting beat out of money from the rip offs in the world.

"Purpose of the Internet"

Have you ever had a question that you didn’t know the answer to, and there wasn’t anyone around to answer it for you? Well that’s where the internet is very helpful in some cases. Some people would say that the internet does nothing for you, or that it is just pointless. Well in my opinion the internet is a helpful source that everyone in the world should be thankful to use.

Students for example, I’m sure about everyone who has ever been to school has used the internet for an assignment. The internet is very helpful for a lot of assignments that are assigned. Things like, research papers, current events, projects, are often used by students because we all need help. Not only does the internet help out students, but if someone has general questions, then the internet has the answers. History for example, I always want to know what happened lots and lots of years ago, but sometimes there is no one like a teacher, counselor, my mother to answer my questions, that’s where the internet comes in to help me out. Just about anything I ask, the internet helps me out and provides me with the answer that I need. I am very grateful that the internet was developed because if it wasn’t then a lot of questions that I have wouldn’t be answered, which will make things different because I will be unsure about certain things that has happened in life.

" Ideal Vacation"

There are many different beautiful places in the world that people go to all the time to take vacations on. Places like Miami, Palm Springs, Florida are all beautiful places to vacation to, and the list goes on. A wonderful place that I would love to vacation to would be Jamaica. The reason why I would want to vacation there is because I have heard so many stories about how beautiful it is. I was supposed to go out there with my best friend but I never got a chance to.

 I feel that Jamaica would be the perfect place to vacation to because to seems like paradise. I would love to go to a beach out there and relax in the sun. To me this is perfect because I love to on beautiful sand and watch the waves of the ocean. I also heard that the beaches out there are really beautiful. Unlike other beaches Jamaica has the cleanest water that is so beautiful. Another thing that would make this vacation perfect is the hotel that I stay in. I would want to stay in a nice suite that is a wonderful view of the water. The hotel room that I stay in would have to have everything. It would have to have a comfortable bed, television, room service etc.

To me this is the ideal vacation because I would be relaxing peacefully with a care in the world. In my opinion this would be paradise.

"Problems That Result FroM Obesity"

Obesity is a problem that people in the world are suffering from today. I watch the news  all the time and reporters  are constantly talking about this issue. I watch fox 11 news and the reporters always say that the obesuty rate has gone up alot compared to how it was alot of years ago. I have watched talke shows that talk about obesity. One particular show that I watch is called "True Life". On an episode of true life a woman talked about how obesity has dramatically changed her life. This woman stated that being obese has changed every aspect of her life. The normal things that she was use to doing, she couldn't do anymore. She couldn't get out of bed and do things for herself because her size made her bed riden. Simple things such as getting up and taking a shower on her own was something that she couldn't do. Her personal life became affected by this because she couldn't go out and hang out with her friends if she wanted to. All she could do was stay in bed because there was no way for her to walk I feel that obesity is a terrible thing that someone can have because it affects a persons personal and social life. I feel this is an issue that should be changed, and worked on, so the people who have it can have normal lives.

"People With Different Interests and Backgrounds"

Everyone in the world is different in many ways. People are interested in different things and have different backgrounds. Having these different things about them in my opinion would make them unlikely allies. Often times, people who are different in many ways don't have a strong bond compared to people that have similar interests and backgrounds. For example my friends and I, we all may not be completely alike, but we all have just about the same kinds of interests. My friends like to do just about everything I like to do. We all like to shop, go out and have fun, go to the movies etc. I feel like our interests is what make us all such good friends. It is very possible for somone to be good friends with a person who is completely different fom them, but what happens when ypour interest start to clash with the other person.
For example, I have a cousin who is friends with a person she doesn't have anything in common with. Time began to pass, and their friendship started to fade because there wasnt anything to talk about, because they didn't have anything in common. The two of them basically came from completely different worlds. I feel if two people have different interests and backgrounds they will always see things different from one another. They will always have different opinions from someone who sees things different from them, and thinks differently from them. I happen to be one of those people who sees things differently from someone who thinks differently from me.

" Outdoor Living to a Person Living in an Apartment in the city"

A person with an apartment in the city would experience a completely different lifestyle if they lived outdoors. Living in an apartment would be much easier to live their lives that outdoors. For example, my family and I went on a camping trip a few years ago. This outdoor experience was everything that I expected it to be. In my opinion living outdoors is extremely different compared to living life in a apartment.  Life outdoors is much harder. Simple things such as warming up food, staying warm with a heater, usung the restroom etc, in an apartment is much easier than outdood living. With outdoor living comes alot of worrying of how to survive compared to lthe luxuries of having everything you need in an apartment. While on the camping trip with my family, it was no where near as comfortable as when I was in my house. When I got cold, there wasnt a heater I could turn on to keep me warm. To use the restroom I didnt have a regular restroom. Life was overall much harder than living ouutdoors. Outdoor life, compared to the city is extrememly different. A person who lives in the city would see life a whole lot different than living outdoors. Outdoor living is something that people would  enjoy, but a person, but a person like me that lives in the city wouldnt enjoy it that much.

"My Opinion About College After High School"

            In life everyone does everything in different ways. Some people move at a rapid pace, and other move at a slower pace. Some people like to do things in an advanced time, and others like to wait at the last minute. Whatever the case may be, everyone does things in life in many different ways.

 One of these decisions that people must make in life is either going to college right after high school or either going to work or traveling before attending high school. Personally I feel that going to college, working, and traveling are all outstanding things that someone can experience in life, but I feel a person should go to college before they decide to do anything else. There are many reasons why I feel this way. Working is a great thing for someone to be doing, but I feel that college should come before working. Everyone knows that in order to have the career of your dreams, you must attend college, well that’s if a person wants a successful; career. I feel that taking a year or more off will only make a person become lazy, which will make them put off college even longer. I’m not saying anything is wrong with that but I feel that will only slow a person down.

            For example I have an auntie that put off going to college for a number of years because she wanted to work right after she graduated from high school. She eventually went to college and she is now a registered nurse. I feel this is a wonderful accomplishment, but if she would have went to college earlier, she should have been enjoying her career a long time ago.

 I feel a person should also go to college before they travel as well. The reason I feel this way is because I know that traveling isn’t a quick thing, and depending on the place that the person is traveling to it might take even longer. I feel a person should go to college first which helps their life when they begin to travel. They won’t ever have to worry about the fact that they have to go back to school to complete their career because it will already be completed.

 I feel education is very important, and should come before many things. Once a person completes school, there isn’t anything they can’t do because education is very powerful to have in this lifetime.

"My Opinion About Community Service"

     Volunteering to me is a very outstanding thing that someone can do. It helps a number of people when someone volunteers.Not only does it benefit other people, but the person who is volunteering gains great citizenship, and also gets to meet and help the lives of other individuals.
     For the past three years, I have been doing community service. I have done things such as , aids walks, creating collages to be displayed in a museum, tutoring young children, and the list goes on. From doing  these activities has made me realize that community service is something that everyone should want to do.
     I feel that junior high and high schools who require their students to do community service is helping their students in outstanding ways. It has helped me realize if I changed my mind about being a psychologist, I  want to be a teacher. Growing up, being a psychologist was something I always wanted to do, but I could never figure out my second choice until I started doing community service.
    A way I did and am now still doing community service is tutoring young children. As I began to tutor them I began to realize how much of a difference I was making in their lives. One day I was assigned the job to teach a few of the kids to write their names. As I began to teach some of them, it was a challenge for them. Some of them didn't know how to write the letters, some of them wrote the letters the wrong way, and some of them didn't want to do it  because they felt that it was too hard.
     In my mind. I thought " What can I do  to make them remember how to write the letters in a fun way"? I thought  of a phrase for each letter  in the child's name if he or she didn't know how to write the letter. One girl didn't know how to write the letter A in lowercase. The phrase I taught her that will forever stick in my head is " Circle and then bring it down". That phrase helped her remember how to write the letter a. The next day  she came up to me and said " Ms. Gina, I remember how to write the letter a, then she said " Circle, the bring it down".
     From that day on, it helped me realize if I ever change my mind about being a psychologist, then my second choice is to be a kinder garden teacher. Community service in my opinion benefits everyone involved in an amazing way. In some cases such as mines, it helped me realize something that can possibly change my life in many ways.

"Allowance For Children"

     Growing up, I was taught lots of morals and values.What I remember the most out of everything I learned was,respect others,especially my elders, and in life, things aren't going to be handed to me for free. As I have grown up, I have noticed lots of things from my peers. Some teens think things such as money should be handed to them without thinking of their behavior or even washing a dish for them to even earn it.
     In my opinion parents who give their childen money for no reason are ruining their child's character. Without hard work and good behavior, these children become spoiled, and begin feeling that the world owes them something. For example, there are many teens who I know who have turned into spoiled people. My cousin for example, I love her to death don't get me wrong, but her whole life she has been spoiled. During her life she has been handed anything she ever wanted without any chores or hard work that allowed her to deserve the things she has received. From getting everything she has wanted has also ruined her appreciation for the things she has gotten since it was handed to her that easily.
     Growing up, she didn't have to do chores to get money or any material thing that she wanted. All she had to do was ask for whatever she wanted and she got it. In my opinion, this has affected her adulthood because now as an adult, she depends on her mother all the time to take care of her. I'm not saying something is wrong with parents doing wonderful things for their children, but there is a difference when the child truly understands the value of hard work.
     I feel all parents should give their children allowance only if they do chores or have good behavior. I feel this creates a form of responsibility, which also helps them in the world when they become adults. This helps them develop hard working skills at a young age, which will later carry on into their adulthood. This creates opportunities for job offers, college acceptance etc. People love when someone who is a hard worker. In my opinion, hardworkers who work for the things they want get farther in life than lazy people. Children who work and behave for the things they want will appreciate and cherish the money or whatever it may be and in my opinion that's priceless. I happen to be one of those hard working children who appreciate the things I work for.

" Doctor"

If I were a doctor I would be  veterinarian. The reason why is because I love animals so much. I would want to do anything to make their lives better. My job would be sad sometimes because I don't like to see animals sick and injured, but once I give them their medicine, and everything to make them feel better, everything will be fine. I will be sad if there are animals I had to put to sleep, but I will know that animal is in a much better place at peace.

"Twenty Feet Tall"

If I was twenty feet tall, I think life would be very rough. I would.nt be able to do alot of the things that I nornally do. I wouldn't be able to fit in a car, get on a rollercoasters, fit into public places because I would be way too tall. I would have to get a bigger house to live in. Overal, life would be very hard because I would have to have everything bigger so I can live.

"One Thing I Am Good At"

Something I am really good at is giving advice. I'm not saying I know everything, but alot of the time when my friends and family come to me for advice, I give my honest opinion, and I try to help them out as best as I can. I am always honest, I don't just tell people what they want to hear. I feel if people want to know the honest truth, then that's what I am going to tell them.

"A New Sandwich"

If I could invent a new sandwich I would have my bread taste like cooies and cream, I would put baccon, lettuce, cheese and a little bit of ranch on it, it would also be toasted. Haha I know it sounds nasty but I would like to see how that would taste.

" Something I've Won"

Something that I have won in my life is "Student Of The Month". I won it because I was the student who had the highest academics in my class. My behavior was also outstanding, I also had perfect attendance for that month. Overall student of the month kids have to be focused and have good behavior, and for me having those things made me win the award.

"My SuperPower"

If I could have any super power I would have the super power of strenght. If I had super strength there would be many things I would do with this power. If I had super strength, I can help lots of people when they can't do certain things. I can always help people when they can't life heavy things. For example, if someone is moving, I can help them move heavy furnitre and things like that.

"An Afternoon With An Extended Family Member"

If I could spend an afternoon with an extended family member, I would spend it with my great grandmother Susie Creer. I chose to spend the day with her is because  my mother always tells me stories about her. My mother tells me about how she loved to cook. My greatgrandmother died a few years before I was born, and it saddens me because I really with I could have met her. If I could spend a day with her, I would want to cook delicious meals with her, and I will cherish the time we got to spend together that day forever.

"Vising The Moon"

I would not like to visit the moon . The moon is wonderful and everything,but I wouldnt want to visit it. I would be too scared to be that high up. I think I would panic from being up that high. The moon is something special, but it wouldn't interest me to be there.

Ways A Teen Can Earn Money"

There are many ways a aperson my age can earn money. There is babysitting, car washes, helping someone with house work, our own chores. Other ways a person my age can earn money include getting a real job. For example, a fast food restaurant, chuckie cheese and the list goes on.

"The Baby Dragon"

Once upon a time there was a baby dragon who was born to a family of mean dragons who terrirozed the town of Dragonville. His name was spike. Spike had a father, mother, and a big brother named Spikey. This family was a family who loved to destroy everything, and when spike was born they wanted him to be just like them, but Spike was different. While growing up. Spike was nice to the other dragons, which made his family mad. Spike didnt understand why they wanted to terririzethe town. All he wanted to do was to be nice and peaceful. One day he decided to talk to his family about changing their lifestyle. He told them that he thought it would be a better idea. The family actually listened to Spike and took his advice. The town "Dragon ville soon became more peaceful, the end.

'My Favorite Season"

My favorite season would have to be summer. The reason summer is my favorite season is because summer is the time of year when I have the most fun. If I am not doing summer classes, I rest, go on family vacations, hang out with friends, party and stay up as late as I want,without worrying about waking up early for school. The most important thing I do is celebrate my birthday becayse my birthday is in the summer. Leos!!! WHOOP!!
